What happens on the field matters

As a young kid, I would snatch the sports page from every newspaper my grandfather bought, and I was passionate about one day having my own stories and byline able to be read by countless readers. I've realized that dream with my work as a sports journalist in the last seven years. In the last four years, I've received three first-place awards for my work, two of them in competition state-wide. I solidified connections with local sports authorities, and have covered several championship games in multiple sports.
